Until I read "Into the Fire: Musings of a Gypsy Soul" , I was a casual reader of poetry. That has now changed! I find that the prose in this book opens doors and dreams I thought were mine alone. I want to read more of Gypsy Mercer's words!

Beautiful poetry someone has penned for many years longer than I have been interested in poetry is like reading a book in a page, or just a few lines.
I found the most amazing words that have been used to describe something, or just a term. The dances describe romance and love and that dreadfulness of love lost and the trying times in between.
Amazing!
I become a bigger fan of her words with every piece I read!

Who is Gypsy Mercer?
Who is Gypsy Mercer?
She is a girl that turned into a woman who read poetry and believed in Knights and magic.
Gypsy began writing in college when she found that her thoughts and written prose were so much more powerful than speaking the words.
Life and reality forced a hiatus while she raised a family and made her way into the professional world. All along, she believed that her real world was in opposition to the needs of her heart and her soul. No longer constrained,
she picked up her pen
freeing both.
This is the result of her escape from captivity.
